Be a MILF

Because really, don't we all aspire to be MILFs? Today's virtual shopping adventure is for us moms, because we deserve cute crap too, darn it!!
I think this outfit is suitable for just about anywhere I'd try to take the brats. I'd have to wear a camisole under the shirt to minimize muffin toppage because shirts are so damn thin these days, but what can you do. I've lost the link for the yellow tank top, my guess would be Old Navy? I don't know. It's a yellow tank top, shouldn't be too hard to find.

When I first saw that these jeans were called "long & lean", I thought "not for me". I'm only 5'3 and not exactly lean (not a total tub or anything, just not lean), but turns out these jeans come in petite sizes (yay!) and are supposed to be slimming and flattering to many sizes. $58 is not so bad, I guess.

I found these on Zappos.com (best shoe site EVER) for $41. They match my old diaper bag perfectly!! Too cute! They're made by a company called Sugar, who seem to have a lot of shoes that I love.

For some reason I'm suddenly unauthorized to view the Kecci home page, so here's an ebay listing. The only reason that this is my old diaper bag is because one of the clasps broke. I contacted the company (Don't worry, I was nice. It was not an occasion for Hate Mail) and they said they had just updated the bags and would be happy to replace it. Unfortunately, they didn't have the Shanghais in stock at the time, but they gave me a brand new Bellagio in exchange!! Great bags, they look expensive but they're not! I would never pay what they want for a Petunia Picklebottom. I think they're beautiful but it's a freaking diaper bag!! I don't even WANT to carry a diaper bag!

You know you need them. $10

I don't know what's up with all the yellow today, I'm not really even a big fan of yellow. But we'll all be bronze goddesses this summer who will look fabulous in yellow, correct? That's what I thought. Please, please don't need me to tell you that you'll need the appropriate bra for this tank. Since it's only $12.50, you may as well buy a bra at the same time: http://www.oldnavy.com/browse/product.do?cid=7524&pid=459453

They're capris, cropped pants, something. Short pants. I don't pretend to know the difference. I just think they are cute and brown (and yes, I know I say cute too much. I'm just too tired to be thinking up a bunch of adjectives). $25 http://www.oldnavy.com/browse/product.do?cid=7520&pid=457211&scid=457211002

How cute are these shoes?? Too freaking cute!! Unfortch, Mr. Ashley does not see new shoes as a life necessity right now. He would be wrong, as usual, but these will remain in my wishlist until I can convince him otherwise, or have them shipped to my mom's and sneak them into my closet. I think my happiness (for the day) is worth $45, really. http://www.zappos.com/n/p/p/7255126/c/70349.html

I love this grasshopper necklace from Etsy shop Chainchainchained. Fun and funky, $12 and easily snuck into the house: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=5884913

I'm not sure what is up with the Kecci diaperbag situation. I had heard a nasty rumor that they were going out of business, say it isn't so! I just cannot imagine that to be true, but I can't get to their site, so here's another ebay listing for you: http://cgi.ebay.com/Gold-Kecci-Diaper-Bag-Asianprint_W0QQitemZ220080244256QQihZ012QQcategoryZ3008QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem

Holy long links, Batman! That's annoying. Now that we've covered some of what I'm not wearing, let's review that I am wearing: pink velour jogging pants (and I'm sure as shit not jogging anywhere), a turquoise tank top and no bra. Hot, huh? This is pretty much it for me, unless someone lures me out of the house and I'm sad to say my outfit choices aren't much more exciting then either. My boys look great though!
