Now?

Or no?

ETA: I tried giving her brows a wax job in Photoshop but it looked even worse, believe it or not.

EATA: Would it kill Blogger to come up with some decent templates? Yeah, I've looked at all the sites that offer them...they all suck.

  1. Her eyebrows are still rather prominent, but I would not obsess over it. The thicker 80's brow is making a comback, so it works.

  2. I don't mind the eyebrows...but the commas in the confessions blurb are too high. It seems like they can't decide if they want to be commas or apostrophes. But that's just me.

  3. Much like the way I've learned to ignore DH's nagging over my credit card bill, we'll get used to the brows. I like her.

I really think "bullshit" is better than "horse shit", though. But who am I to say, I'm only klassy on the outside. Inside I'm more trailer trash than anyone realizes.

  4. Yeah...what is up with the commas?? Type writers don't do the commas like that. That is annoying.

  5. I, personally, like the alliteration of "housewife and horseshit"

You, really are too much. (In a perfectly great, I'm totally obsessed with your blog and would like to be you kind of way.)

  6. I like her! I think it's a great idea to replace the grocery shopping mom with the lady of leisure. I love the label on this post, btw - "you knew I wasn't cleaning". Lol. We did know that.

  7. Yeah, I like her way more than the grocery shopper. I kinda like the eyebrows, sorta Jennifer Jason Leigh or ... something.

I second the weirdly levitating commas, and just to be totally picky "weiner gobbling" should be hyphenated.

  8. Its kind of hard to see the white writing on the bottom, especially to the left. The "50s" looks washed out.

But I like the lounging girl. Makes me feel like being lazy!

  9. Didn't notice the commas, but now that you mention it...they are a little funky.

BTW, I agree about Blogger and their lame templates. I was trying to find something new for myself and no luck.

  10. She is cute, I like it. Agree that weiner-gobbling needs to be hyphenated. Also the reversed-out white type across the bottom doesn't stand out anymore--esp. at the first part of the sentence--it gets lost against the pale pink. Maybe try bolding? But the overall effect is very cute!

  11. I love it! I think it fits you a lot better. ;-) Her eyebrows are fine I think. I guess back then they didnt have wax. :-) I personally like the bull shit better lol. There are way too many :) and lol in this.

  13. lol sequana.

I agree we can live with her eyebrows, I'm over that now. P, you're right on about the alliteration of housewife and horse shit but maybe there should be a space in house wife? Just so house wife and horse shit would match better?

Commas are changing, no hyphens because I'm anti-hyphen. I actually think they should be outlawed.

(Not really, but it is funnier that way)

  14. Just passing through for the first time and wouldn't think of leaving without commenting. I had no idea how important comments were, now I know. I'll be a more caring lurker in the future.

  15. What I go to pick up the Kindergartener and again I am behind? Once again I like the new look, even though I don't know you in real life she seems more like you.

  16. Have you looked at suckmylolly.com? While it sounds like porn, it's actually a bunch of really cool blogger templates. I just redid my blog with one and I <3 it.... I could give you the link, but then I'd have to kill you.... it's my "fat blog", where I am trying to document the weight I am trying to lose for a wedding I am in.

Don't tell the non-commenters, but I secretly hate them.

(kidding, kidding, I don't hate all of them. The shy ones are okay. The lazy ones suck though.)
