One of my clients just called to get permission to have a famous tattoo artist tattoo one of the portraits I took of his daughter onto him.
This is a real thrill for me. My artwork is going to be on someone FOREVER.
It was also unbelievably nice to call and ask, and I told him I would happily provide the tattoo artist with the digital image if that would make life easier.
I also have three other people booking appointments, and one that just placed a very large order.
Yay me!

ReplyDeleteHey speaking of famous tattos artist, do you watch Miami Ink? I am watching it right now and Darin on there just found out he is having a baby boy and they are naming it Cash Avery. Is it you that wanted a boy named Cash?
ReplyDeleteHis last portrait tattoo was done by Kat Van D (and is amazing). I can't remember the site of this other guy, but he says he's a bigger deal than Kat and will do an even better job. When I log back into that email and get the site name, I'll be sure to share.
