Juno

just restored my faith in movies.

I was starting to think that all current movies pretty much sucked.

AWESOME movie, and that girl is a great actor.

(adorable! all of it!)

  1. Oh, I LOVE Juno. Even DH loved it, and that is sooo not his type of movie.

  2. I wasn't a fan. I hate when dialogue is so contrived. They are 17, not yuppie 35 year olds. Loved the acting though!

  3. The BEST movie I've seen in a LONG time! I dragged my hubby to see it when it was in the theater. He hadn't heard anything about it and was a bit leary of seeing it, but I told him to trust me and he loved it, too.
When it came out on DVD, I had no trouble letting my 10 & 12 y.o. daughters watch it, too.

  9. o0o0oh I loved Juno! Ellen Page is so cute and so is Michael Cera.... aaaaaaw! I think it was silly that it was blamed for that awful pregnancy pact thing at the high school!!!

  10. Until recently, I thought Juno was a chick flick DH would hardly concede to watching with me. Until my manly-man physical therapist told me it was great when we were discussing good movie rental choices. DH and I both really enjoyed it - although, I can't get the word vag out of my head!

It was refreshing to see the story that showed the (somewhat) realistic "other" side of a teen who chooses the less easy route, and also has to learn the hard lesson that things in life don't always work out perfectly.

  11. Sorry Ash, I hated that movie. Her acting was horrible and the plot sucked. Not a fan of Juno. =-P

  12. I liked it... Hubby thought the dialogue was a little too mature for a high school kid. But I thought it was a very good movie.

  14. I waited for an eternity for that movie to come in my Netflix. I even had it #1 in my que for months! They kept sending me bullshit from the bottom.

    Love me some stink eye.

I adore Jason Bateman. There is just something about him (even though he was a jerk in Juno).

Don't tell the non-commenters, but I secretly hate them.

(kidding, kidding, I don't hate all of them. The shy ones are okay. The lazy ones suck though.)
