He's a Shoe In

I know it's awful, but the video of Bush being attacked with flying shoes just cracks me up:



He is way faster than I would've suspected...and Secret Service is way slower than I would've expected.

Here's a game where you can throw shoes at him too.

    I was thinking the same thing...about how slow the Secret Service was. Good thing it wasn't something more dangerous than a shoe hurling his way.

    When I first saw the footage, I thought:
    (1) Geez, Bush needs a hair cut.
    (2) Uh, did that guy just throw a shoe? and,
    (3) Holy crap! Bush moves quick for being such a dumbass!!

    I was very impressed that he was able to duck from both shoes. Especially since it appeared that he took a quick second to smirk after the first shoe.

    Oh boy. I bet my Dansko clogs would really hurt if they hit him in the head, huh? Too bad his reflexes are so good.

    Of course I would never want anything terrible to happen to him, even though I don't like him but I agree that the shoe thing IS pretty funny.

    What was the news reporter suggesting we listen to? "Let's listen in..." and all you hear is scuffling and disjointed Arabic? I thought we were going to hear something worth reporting on, like..."Everything is George Bush's fault!", you know, something original like that.
