Mr. & Mrs. Ashley

Eight years ago today, I wore the prettiest dress ever, had perfect hair and make-up, and all eyes on me all day long.

That's right, today is my wedding anniversary!

I tried to scan a photo for you to memorialize my prettiest day ever, but of course my scanner isn't working. Of course.

Our wedding was so much fun. Overall, our whole relationship is a lot of fun. We've had our ups and downs, but I truly can't imagine doing it all with anyone else.

We've been together for 11 years in all...we don't seem old enough for that. Tonight we're celebrating by taking the kids out to the Japanese steak house we went to the night we got engaged.

Let's hope little kid can control himself around knives, food throwing and fire...

    Happy Anniversary. I think that is the way we all should feel about our spouses. No I just have to write myself a reminder of that.

    Happy Day, Ashley's!! I cannot even imagine you without kids!! Haha! Congrats on making it this far.... and Im SO glad you DID get married, because although you are a GREAT writer, those kids are what makes my day when you write about them!! Hope you enjoy tonight!!

    That sounds fun! We celebrated with our kids, too - we had our 7th anniversary earlier this month. And I'm just so jealous of all the brides with DIGITAL pics of their special day. I scanned my pics in.... and I swear they're better in real life. Okay, rant over...

    Hate those Japanese steakhouse...well the food I dig, but I hate having to sit that close to folks I don't know, hear their conversations & God forbid if they have any weird eating habits. Argh!
