More Importantly

I just heard that Farrah Fawcett died today too.

Man, that's sad. It's also sad that her death will be overshadowed by the freak's death.

I thought it was really brave of her to film that documentary about her cancer, and I found it very touching to watch. I will never, ever forget her saying that she will miss the sound and smell of the rain. It made me so sad.

What a crazy day, for two such icons to die.

  1. And Ed McMahon. Kinda a deathly trifecta day.

  2. I feel the same way! I am annoyed by the cries of people on TV, WE miss you MICHAEL, he was a HERO. etc...It's sad, he had a tragic life, but I can't get over the wierdness and the kiddie molestation charges!

  3. Thanks so much for the Givoogle link, Ashley, what a sadly appropriate time for something like this to appear.

  4. I wish she didn't have to go through so much pain, and lose her hair. That hair. I tried so hard when I was a kid to have that hair. Poor thing. I don't think I will ever be able to think about her now and not feel sad. She would hate that.

Yep, I was right in there in the 70's :)

Don't tell the non-commenters, but I secretly hate them.

(kidding, kidding, I don't hate all of them. The shy ones are okay. The lazy ones suck though.)
