This is ...I actually agree with you, new anonymous. This is the first time in their lives that my dogs haven't been able to run around the yard freely, so they are adjusting. I rent now, so a fence isn't an option. I also keep my cats inside, although cat poop in my yard wouldn't compel me to bag it up and throw it at a neighbor.

And actually, having alive but hurt baby rabbits delivered to my yard would be right up my alley. I could attempt to nurse them back to health, and then most likely accidentally kill them with my lack of knowledge or ability. No such fun with bags of poop.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08436571420215943287noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5148811199743801438.post-10972018719427427372009-05-19T19:32:37.163-04:002009-05-19T19:32:37.163-04:00I say that dogs should not be tied up. I am busy having trouble with all the cats in the neighborhood pooping in my bushes and killing all the other animals. I sure wish I could let my dog loose for a bit. And yes I KNOW the cat lovers will come out in droves at that one but there is no reason that cats cannot be licensed and kept in doors. So there. When my neighbor's cat killed the bunny babies she threw the babies STILL ALIVE BUT HURT into my yard. So be happy it is just poop. We don't currently own a dog (We have before, we will again very soon) It's annoying to go outside into your yard, with your little kids, and see a big dog turd with flies buzzing around and you know it's not from your dog. (or kids) And disgusting. BUT I certainly don't think your dear ol' neighbors handled the situation the best way. (AT ALL.)

Hmmmm... maybe I should have thrown a bag full of poopy diapers into the neighbor's yard. He didn't have any kids.... I have dogs too who have gotten into neighbors yard, and I can understand their frustration with it. Sure, its an asshole move to throw a bag of dog shit on someones lawn, but who really wants other peoples dogs shitting on their lawns either? I say drop it, and try to keep the dogs in the yard. A note in my mailbox would have more than served the same purpose, but I wouldn't have to devise schemes of revenge as a result. It would have made me feel bad instead of angry.

Sure the dogs chasing bunnies through the hedges a few times is irritating, but they don't roam the neighborhood (only 2 neighbors have been affected at all) and there is zero chance that either dog has pooped in their yard more than once because they simply never had time.

It seems like an extreme and hostile way to deal with something that isn't happening on purpose or often.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08436571420215943287noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5148811199743801438.post-6093098236291952082009-05-09T17:34:00.000-04:002009-05-09T17:34:00.000-04:00Hey, at least you found the bag of poop instead of...Hey, at least you found the bag of poop instead of little kid! I never said that's how I would deal with the situation - that's horribly base, to throw trash into your yard. I was just saying it's no light matter to have dogs running about the neighborhood. From my experience, when other neighbor's dogs are running around, my dogs get riled up and bark to bring the band home. I was simply pointing out, Ashley, that I'm sure if YOU'RE frustrated, your neighbor is as well.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5148811199743801438.post-33288258193976020012009-05-09T14:39:00.000-04:002009-05-09T14:39:00.000-04:00I have a feeling anonymous doesn't own a dog. Cut us some slack, it took two times to figure out how lily was escaping and Murphy's collar broke. Not even a super pet owner like yourself can prevent accidents like that. I would be a bit frustrated too. That's definitely unsafe for your dogs - I'm assuming your neighborhood is set on a street with moving cars?

And since you've only lived there like, a month and the dogs have gotten out 4 times... it actually IS an ongoing problem. Perhaps they just don't like cleaning up after other people's dogs? I know I don't. I'm an animal lover and I understand mistakes, but if your dogs are getting loose on a consistent basis, you're not doing something right.

Good luckAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5148811199743801438.post-41986770802642649492009-05-08T22:50:00.000-04:002009-05-08T22:50:00.000-04:00At least it wasn't on fire and flung onto your doo...At least it wasn't on fire and flung onto your doorstep.....Schmoochiepoohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17581819755164524861noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5148811199743801438.post-44991153735315541452009-05-08T17:23:00.000-04:002009-05-08T17:23:00.000-04:00Maybe Borat dropped by and you weren't home!!!Maybe Borat dropped by and you weren't home!!!TexaninAlabamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10344762086000272788noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5148811199743801438.post-81821949826075323432009-05-08T15:46:00.000-04:002009-05-08T15:46:00.000-04:00The bible says, "If you have problems with your ne...The bible says, "If you have problems with your neighbor - go to your neighbor...with a large pile of dung."Layne Streethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14198979992488019753noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5148811199743801438.post-28251226349038267482009-05-08T15:37:00.000-04:002009-05-08T15:37:00.000-04:00At least they put it in a bag :)At least they put it in a bag :)Maggiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03310167742699434598noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5148811199743801438.post-57647552398246284632009-05-08T15:21:00.000-04:002009-05-08T15:21:00.000-04:00That's sad that someone would stoop so low!
