We get the same greeting every time the kids spend the night at my mother-in-law's house. They used to cry and not talk to us when we showed up.

When we first started letting them spend the night we actually thought the little fuckers might miss us and be happy to see us. Not the case. Now we call ahead and have her start preparing them mentally for our arrival.
