My "laundry fairy" picks up my dirty laundry on Friday night; washes, dries, and folds it on Saturday; and then delivers it all nice and clean on Sunday! My mom is recently retired and she VOLUNTEERED to do this after her retirement. Seriously, she needs to have something to do!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5148811199743801438.post-79401014078045632062009-01-24T20:28:00.000-05:002009-01-24T20:28:00.000-05:00My daughter's day care potty-trained her too. One day they told me to send her in panties and to bring some back ups. They told me it was just easier for them to have all the kids using the potty than to have some of them in pull-ups and diapers and some using the potty.

As for the laundry...not sure on that one...my heirloom rocker is currently COVERED in laundry. Can't even see it. If you were half as good he'd be potty trained by now (basically you dare her to do it) She'll give you advice, which you'll say "oh I doubt that would ever work, but if you want to give it a try, I'll give it one last shot" Haha she'll take the bait, potty train your kid, and be happy that she was right. The little punk refused to do it for us but one day when I picked him up they told me to send him in undies the next day as his pull up were always dry. We did and he NEVER had an accident and night trained at the same time. The way too expensive preschool tution was totally worth it that year.;)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5148811199743801438.post-14143951899200548742009-01-23T11:41:00.000-05:002009-01-23T11:41:00.000-05:00Figure out how much someone else would have to pay...Figure out how much someone else would have to pay you to potty train their kid and wash and fold their laundry. Then offer sitter that amount. Easy peasy Bob's your uncle. P.s. don't piss off the baby sitter, especially if you love her and don't want to lose her, by just dropping off little kid in a pair training pants and wishing her God speed. Because seriously, she knows where you live!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5148811199743801438.post-39813579435637803522009-01-23T11:26:00.000-05:002009-01-23T11:26:00.000-05:00Whenever I need a good laugh, you always deliver! ...Whenever I need a good laugh, you always deliver! So, maybe tell LK's daycare that you've been working with him and you think it's time to start at the daycare? That "fib" worked for me!

As for the laundry, I can't help you there. Yeah, I have a ton of laundry on my sofa that needs to be folded and put away, but do I really want my daycare to see my old undies? Or the holes in Wylee's favorite shirt that he refuses to get rid of?
