A Nice Outfit for Work or Dinner Out or a Movie or Other Places I Don't Go

Navy Blue Tuxedo Shirt from Old Navy $15 (sale!)
This shirt is a bargain at $15. I'll warn you that I fancy myself a bargain shopper, although I'm about to totally discredit that statement by disclosing the cost of those fabulous shoes. However, let's keep in mind that getting a really good deal on a cute shirt gives you one of the excuses you know you're looking for to buy expensive shoes.

Tailored Boyfriend Pant by Gap $50
I don't know for sure because I haven't tried them on, but I suspect these khakis would be flattering to lots of different body styles. They'd also look good in lots of different settings. Not sure why they're called the Boyfriend Pant, as I would be pretty concerned if my boyfriend wore pants like this. Not that I have a boyfriend, I'm a married woman. Not a real boyfriend anyway. Oh come on, a girl can dream can't she?

Straw Tote from Gap $30
Big enough to hold a few diapers, some wipes, a sippy cup and a bottle OR a bikini, a passport, a pair of clean underwear, a toothbrush and enough money to lounge on the beach somewhere for a while....

Miss Sixty heel from Zappos, $170
Okay, I'll admit when I saw the price I thought "Yowza!" That is an expensive shoe. But it is also such a Beautiful shoe!! It is a Special shoe!! You are a Special girl (or guy I guess, we don't discriminate against crossdressers or the transgendered here at Ashley's Closet) You deserve it!! You'll wear them all the time!! I'm sure they'll be the most comfortable shoe you ever owned!! People in the streets will stop you to compliment your awesome shoes!! I'm still working on justifying a $170 shoe purchase, but I really love these (and isn't that reason enough?)

Silver Wavy Hoops at Target $20
You'll get lots of use out of these puppies. Silver hoops go with anything.

Silver Bangle Bracelets at Target $8

Everyone loves the Bangles. They're only $8. Stop being a cheap ass and go buy them. You're probably not accessorizing enough anyway, you know who you are.

I'm not sure what's up with the formatting of the photos above and although I can be a bit of a perfectionist and it is driving me crazy, I'm just going to let it go. I'm a shopper, not a website formatter or whatever. [edited to add: I just couldn't let it go. It was keeping me up at night. So although it was a total pain in the ass, I went ahead and fixed the photo formatting so they lined up nice and pretty. But the whole formatting thing isn't as easy as you think so if anything in the future is not perfect, let's remember that we're here to shop and this is just for fun and things don't have to be perfect.] I am also not responsible for broken links, out of stock items, your size being unavailable, fashion blunders, out of control credit card bills, or anything else anyone may try to pin on me. Not my fault, not my problem, here's your disclaimer. I also often round up the prices because really, don't we all know that $19.99 is really $20? I think we do. I think that should cover it. You can't blame me for anything and I'm not always perfect (just most of the time).

I should probably also say that I am in no way affiliated with any of the stores or products mentioned on this site (although I'd really, really like to be and would sell out in a heartbeat).

Holy Moly... you are pretty good at this stuff.. what a cute outfit, I have to say.
My problem? I don't know when enough is enough. I will buy this outfit and never wear it, as I rarely get out either. I'll buy this outfit with the money I don't have..
Must... learn... to .. window... shop..
