Oh my gosh - that is absolutely one of the funniest things EVER!!!! My stomach hurts from trying to hold in the laughter at work. Oh, that is just AMAZING! I love his proud smile!
He calls it his invention, I get vague answers about what the invention does though. He used a hammer, a nail, almost one roll of electrical tape and a broken chopstick.
I'm getting him a woodworking kit (no saws, obviously, everything pre-cut) for Christmas!
Love, love, love this. Too bad the big birthday celebration has passed or you could have made his thank you cards from this pic - "Shanks for coming to my party!"
The only problem is that you and Mr. Ashley make such pretty babies, I don't think he'll last long in the big house. The shank will definitely come in handy though. Adorable boys, though really, both of them!

I notice he's not wearing his cowboy boots!
He actually wore the cowboy boots to school today! It's a miracle those things still fit but he rocks them about once a week, sometimes with shorts.
