Big Kid just gathered together a collection of "free dimenshable" shapes. His collection was incomplete without a cone but then I saved the day with an ice cream cone from the pantry.
Then he quizzed me on my "free dimenshable" shapes and yelled at me when I called the sphere a ball (in all fairness, it was a ball). I was feeling pretty cocky because I knew the coolie cup was a cylinder, but I guess I'm not as smart as I thought.
He's only five and he's already smarter than me. And he knows it.

you are going to have serious problems with this one when he gets older. don't blame yourself. some kids are just born that way. how can a child be so full of cute and mischief at the same time?
It's one thing for them to be smarter than us, but the real trouble comes from them figuring that fact out. I think we, as parents, lose all control when they know they are smarter than us.
