Quick Hi

I only have a couple of minutes before I have to pick up Big Kid, so I'm going to dump some links on you all and go. No theme or organization to any of it, just random crap to keep you semi-busy while you anxiously await my return.

Just real quick--this stay at home mom stuff is for the birds. When I told Mr. Ashley that I was saving some laundry for later so I'd have something to do, he promised to call the internet people and tell them that we have a major emergency on our hands and March 8th is just too far away.

I've been reading a ton (finished Owen Meany, more on that later!) and Wally Lamb's "The Hour I First Believed" is the one thing keeping me (mostly) sane. I also rented (no cable or satellite at new house!) Wonderfalls, Flight of the Conchords, and old Flintstones episodes from the library, and a friend gave me a ton of Family Guy dvds so my bed time routine didn't have to be interrupted.

Other than that it's been nothing but children and pot roasts and lunch making and laundry and dishes.

It's awful.

(and if any of those links are broken, you're out of luck. I don't have time to check them!)

Oh.... I've always wondered about Wonderfalls. Tell us what you think. If you were here, I'd loan you my entire collection of Arrested Development DVDs and my Led Zeppelin boxed set.

I'd like to hear your take on Wonderfalls, as well. I got it through Netflix a week or so ago, and I was really dissapointed. I think I made it through the first two episodes, and my mind began wandering. Let us know!! Im sure LK will love those old Flinstones though!! ~CoCo

I just made like 10 Picasso faces! That was way too much time consuming fun! :) <- obviously not as good as my Picasso face.

Clearly, it's time for another baby.

Oh, Ashley. Making lunches is one of my favorite things. It's the cornerstone of my blogging.

"It's awful" you say.

Just break my heart.

I think I suggested Wally Lamb's "She's come undone" to you once before. If you haven't read it yet, you really should grab it, although if you are looking to kill some significant amount of time, it will only be good for about a day, because..it's that good and I bet you will read right through the washer cycle, dryer cycle and possibly dinner if you are lucky! congrats on the move.

Have a book recommendation for you -- Dirty Little Secret by C.J. Omololu. It's a quick read... unlike Owen Meany.

LOL at the Palin sticker...If there is any one person who could be the ruination of the Republican party, she's it!

Okay - so I think my skinny 13 year old should take a photo with that Ted Nugent cover - you know the one where he doesn't have a shirt on?

Uh... It's the 9th!! I feel like its the scene in Terms of Endearment... where Debra Winger(Emma), needs her shot, and Shirley Mclain(Aurora, is screaming at the nurse... "It's AFTER 10! She needs her shot!!! GIIIVE MY DAUGHTER THE SHOOOOT!" Hahaha! I've done SO well trudging through these last few days without you, Ashley!! COME BACK!!!!~CoCo

Am I gonna have to come and put the smack down on your internet provider?! :D

It's the 10th. Please come back. I think we're all concerned you've lost your sanity as much as we all have, without you, and you might never be returning.

That would be tragic.
