Here are those bunnies that I "rescued":
I'm assuming that they didn't die, although I didn't call the wildlife rehab place to find out because I didn't want to hear if they did die. They seemed okay. Mostly.
The wildlife rehab place was kind of mean. Mr. Ashley said they treated him as if he had personally attacked the bunnies. You can't blame my dogs for wanting to play with that kind of adorableness! I still regret not keeping the fat one, even though I know that's just the crazy talking.

'I shall call him George and I will love him forever and ever and ever...'
Which's the chunky one? Can't tell:(
Oh goodness!! How cute are they!? Ugh, it must have been hard to part with them!
It was crazy not to keep one!!
So freakin adorable.
I can see why you wanted to keep one, but I'm sure it's best you didn't considering the dogs wanted to make them chew toys, anyway! They are adorable, though.
So, so tiny. That equals sweet right?
Sorry the rehabbers were mean. But you did the right thing. I'm sure those bunnies have been released by this point.
They are super cute, but let me tell you, as someone who owned two bunnies.....THEY STINK TO HIGH HEAVEN! I think you could use their urine instead of mace. And of course, I felt bad keeping them outside in the hot, Florida sun, so they lived inside, in a cage. When I did let them out to hop around, they chewed everything in sight and left nice little chocolates for me. So cute, yes but the best pet? Not so much.... you did the right thing! :)
