Mr. Ashley

looked completely shocked when I asked if I could have a Hedgehog and said "Absolutely not. No way. Are you crazy?"

So, it looks like we're going to have to keep working on it. Keep your fingers crossed.

ooooooooooh, those are sooooo cute- wow! I think I must need a set too.
Sounds like Mr A needs some diversion. Like, Mr A I saw this glorious Chanel handbag today and it cost less than 4 years of college for our children. A handbag is much more useful than a diploma which cannot even hold a cell phone let alone all my prescriptions.
No you won't co-sign the loan from our mortgage? How about this little hedgehog? LOL
Good luck (found you from postcards)!

Yeah, should have stuck with the tried and true: "Look what followed me home!"

However, it will not work for a pool boy when you don't have a pool...FYI.

I so totally thought that second paragraph was going to say "so it looks like we're going to get a Hedgehog"

...cuz that's how my mind works when my husband thinks he can say no to anything :)

I adore those little hedgehogs. My name is Layne and my nick name is Saint Francis and I seriously love those hedge hogs and would like to own them if you don't. GOOD LUCK! My knees are even crossed.

Nah, as much as it would be cute to have one, and name it Sonic and all...I vote for a sugar glider. They are way cute and not as pokey. Google and check out some pictures of them. The babies are so squishy!!

I tried to talk the hubby into a hedgie a few years back. He was being quite adamant about his no so I tried harassing him with hedgehog pictures. I printed out tons of cute ones and taped them all over the house, with packing tape, in really obnoxious places...like over the ends of remotes, on his glasses, bathroom mirror, etc. I am still hedgie-less but it was kinda fun to piss him off with pictures of cute animals. Someday I will have one and he will be named Spiney Norman.

And sugar gliders are super cute lttle fruit eating marsupials.
