Good Character

I got a "character star" (a new behavior-reward system we're trying out) from Big Kid for making him orange juice the other day.

So I guess it was worth it after all.

I love that it is a Star of David character star, nice touch! Jewish pre-school really paid off. Mazel Tov!

Awwww. That is so sweet. How is it that one sweet moment wipes out like 50 moments where they make you want to stab yourself in the eye?

Am I the only one that thinks its hysterical that BK wrote it out to "Ashley" and not "Mom"?!

I heart Big Kid.

For about a year when Big Kid was around 2, he only called me Ashley. I would refuse to acknowledge him, I would get angry, I would cry, I would beg, I would act like I didn't care--but he persisted in only calling me Ashley. Then finally "mama", then "mudder", and now it's strictly "mom" except for on character stars, I guess.

I also love the Star of David and attribute that to time at Temple preschool

LMAO! I want Bee to call me "mudder"! How cute!! I just get "mommy" and, my favorite "mom-maaaay!"

I've compared my memory of childhood events, with my mom's, and they are very different. I remember happy field trips, fun experiments, and having lots of fun. Mom remembers going almost insane chasing kids, cleaning up messes, breaking up fights, and the prep and clean up work.

I guess it's worth it, right?
