I made the mistake of giving Big Kid a dry erase placemat of the United States of America map with a blank quiz on the back, and now I'm constantly being tested on where Ar-kansas and Mi-piss-ship-ee are.
And I thought the math "quations" were annoying...

I love the pronunciation of Mississippi. lol It's awesome that he's so interested in gaining more knowledge, though! He seems like such a bright, inquisitive kid. I definitely don't think I was interested in such things at his age. I think I was more concerned with which outfit Barbie was going to be wearing for her big date with Ken!
I think for spring break you should introduce Big Kid to something mind numbing... like video games.

Mississippi and Arkansas are pretty easy for me since they are so close. It's all of those states in the middle that I have a hard time with.
Never, ever give them the tools they need to become smarter than you. Amateur mistake!
