Is it wrong to drink wine out of a coffee mug at 2pm?
I could wash out a wine glass, but it's Sunday and it just doesn't seem like I should have to.
Why does it always feel so depraved to drink wine out of anything other than a wine glass? I originally reached for a mason jar, but that's just plain white trash. A coffee mug is a little classier-- but it still feels questionable.

I drink mine out of an 8oz glass water tumbler. When I put it in there it just looks like white grape juice so I don't even feel weird about walking outside with it. Crap...now my secret is out.
I agree with Stacey. Stick it in a tumbler and no one will be the wiser!

Grrrrl, you're all good. They drink wine out of tumblers in Italy. If the Italians can do it, you can too!
I think the real question is ....Did the wine from a box? Because coffee cup & boxed wine = completely acceptable....even on Sunday!
I prefer mine out of a plastic cup, but the hubby freaks out. The stemware tips a little to easy after the 2nd glass...

You could just drink it straight out of the bottle and then you won't have any dishes to wash at all.
I would drink wine out of a shoe if I had no other options. Cheers!
See I think the coffee cup is kind of secretive, where as the mason jar is "country", not white trash. And if you added some fruit and shit and made a sangria, went to sit outside to enjoy the sunshine, the mason jar would be very "summertime". It is all in how you look at it.

My mom and I took a trip to Hawaii together in may. She woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't sleep so she decided to pour a glass of wine...She couldn't find a glass...She poured herself a bowl!
It was pretty fucking funny to see a bowl of wine on her bedside table the next morning!
I'd have gone with the mason jar. The coffee mug makes it seem like you are hiding your drinking, which is never a good thing.
