TMI

I got little kid a cheap-o Walmart movie about tractors and horses and they are teaching kids how to operate these tractors...like serious, step by step instructions, including how to disengage the emergency brake and what lever operates what.

Am I the only one that thinks this is waaaaaay too much information? I'm having nightmares of little kid sneaking down the road to the construction site nearby and riding off into the sunset on one of these things.

I would normally say don't worry, but that little kid seems quite mischevious.

Well, it may be too much information for people who don't live on a farm, you're right. But my kids learn all of that stuff very early on. It could mean the difference between life or death on a farm. Of course, my husband teaches them, not a Walmart movie. ;)

I never did understand why they did "how-to's" for little boys. All really care about is seein how they runover & crush things! LOL.

I think it is sweet that you worry about all angles like that.

Whoa, nelly! That's CRAZY. I don't even like to plug things into the wall in front of my daughter lest she starts getting ideas about sticking things into the wall sockets!

My DS put a combine in gear at the ripe ol' age of 21 months. Ah, yes, he's gifted.

My 5 yo neighbor Seamus put a paper clip into a wall socket. He said "the house shook me". He is ok though. He was out of sight for about a minute and a half when he did this. And there was a plastic cover in the socket that he removed first.

Pretty sure he won't being doing that again.

First and foremost, I am between the shy and lazy...does that still secure me a seat on the cruise?

Secondly, my 2 yr old shifts my husbands beloved but retired truck, Black Beauty in and out of gear, although reverse is a little hard.
He also starts the lawnmower (with my husband), complete with what things to turn on in what order. He took the push mower apart, and can tell you what pieces go where, and what they are for. Nothing short of red-neck genius. Makes a momma proud!

I can just picture Mr. 2-year-old Little Kid riding off into the sunset on a tractor.

Lock yer doorz!

Btw, what are the kids being for Halloween?

Get that movie as far away from him as you can. As much trouble as that kid gets into at home, you don't want him trashing some construction site down the street. Do they even have juvenile detention for 2 year olds?

Oh, HELL YES, that's entirely too much information... Thanks for the warning... We have tractors around here. I don't need one rolling into anything with my kid on it...

That sounds like fun! I'd rather my kids know all about how things work then be clueless about them.

Call me an information geek, but I like stuff like that. :)
