New Babies!

I can't believe I forgot to tell you all this, but last Sunday we got 2 new chicks! Because we're crazy!

Here they are:

Boris and Trisha (names by Big Kid, of course)

Trisha

Boris

Boris is a rooster, which proves that I was not in my right mind when allowing Mr. Ashley to talk me into it. I may have been high on Sudafed at the time.

Big Kid immediately insisted on Boris and Fluffy, we nixed Fluffy and he campaigned for Boris and Chicka Chicka 1-2-3, I protested that on behalf of Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and he finally settled on Trisha, which is bizarre enough to work.

Trisha looks more like a Boris to me. Kind of like Boris & Natasha from the old cartoons.

Did I just date myself?

Have a Happy New Year!

Boris is cute enough now, but just you wait!

Okay, so freakin' cute - I can't believe you forgot to share!

I was going to say the same thing---that Boris looks like a Boris-etta to me. Maybe you will get lucky and have a gay rooster like my uncle Jay did--not much funnier than that

Boris is really pretty. I can't wait to see what he looks like when he gets bigger!

Trisha will grow into her beauty, I know it. She really is pretty, but her feathers have not filled in yet.

Do you love them? What does LK think?

Yahoo! We just got plans for a new coop and once it's built, I'm going to order some new chicks from the 'Net. I can't wait! Good luck with the rooster. I have three and they all start sounding off around 4:30 AM. Evidently, they don't follow daylight savings time.

Hi, I came over from Buddha's Place to check out the 'new babies'. There really are adorable. Although,I'm not sure I would like Boris waking me up early when he's older..... ;)

So cute! The only birds I can handle right now are zebra finches. We've got 7 with 1 on the way. What I really would like is a peacock, but I hear they are just as bad as roosters when it comes to the noise. Any experience with them?
