Big Kid made it off of the bus fine.
little kid and I were waiting there anxiously when he hopped off the bus, walked up to us and turned for home, walking quickly and chattering about something they did at school.
"So, how was your bus ride?" I asked, excited for him.
"Fine," he replied before going back to his previous topic, totally nonplussed about his bus riding adventure.
Soooo, I guess this means I'm done with the car rider line!
Oh, sweet Lord, how I cannot wait for that day...school here starts September 8th.
And for the first time ever, Big A will be riding a bus there.
I'm seriously considering having a margarita at that moment, though it will be 7:10 a.m. and frowned upon in many cultures.
Jenn, when in doubt, do it quietly. I'm pretty sure that Margaritas in the morning are fine as long as you don't really tell anybody.
I want to so badly put my kid on the bus, loading 3 kids into the mini and being gone for about an hr is torture. BUT and this is a big BUT his bus ride would be about 1 hr from load to sitting and picking up the school across the street to getting home. Oh and the school across the street just happens to be a middle school so that means kids as big as 8th graders are on the bus and that FREAKS me the F out!
Yay BK. I knew he could do it. I'm just glad you survived the day.
Jenn - It's five o'clock somewhere.
