Mother Clucker

Now the other one is really chirping up a storm too. I think the second one is black, at least it's beak and feathers that I can see are. Oh, the sound is adorable and thrilling!!!! The anticipation is killing me--and I could kill Big Kid for not wanting to stay home with me today!

Oh, yes. When they hatch they will be talking up a storm. It is so cool. I'm so excited that you are going to have chicks finally after all your hard work.

Big Kid is a party pooper! Watching baby chicks hatch is WAY more educational that anything they can teach him in one day of kindergarten.

OMFG that is the greatest thing ever. I would have made BK stay home and watch the wonder of mother nature.

I will now be pulling all that incubator crap out and hatching my own chicks, we have a shit load of stuff in the shed that someone GAVE us.

How exciting! I'm in awe. How long did it take for the little guy to chip himself out of there? What will you do with the babies once they/now they are out?
