Okay, I know you all love free stuff. Moms of babies, line up, I've got a good one.
It's called the Neatnik Saucer and it fits into a restaurant highchair and keeps the surrounding area safe from falling food. It's made from an easy to wipe oil cloth and the best way I can describe it is like one of those sunshades for cars that you unfold and pop open? They're round? That's probably not the best description, but at least some of you will catch my drift.
Anyway, it protects your kid from the germy chair and protects the floor from your kid's crumbs. I really, really wish I had gotten this while little kid still sat in a high chair (he's a booster seat boy out at restaurants now) because this would have been a godsend. You'll probably find this hard to believe, but he was a food thrower/dropper back in his day. I know, I know, it's a shocker.
It is cleverly constructed and fits into a diaper bag sized oilcloth envelope that even has a pocket on the front for storage. Take my word for it, it's pretty cool.
So leave a comment with your first name and I'll use a random number generator to choose one of you and then eventually I'll mail the Neatnik Saucer to our winner.
Sorry, non baby havers--maybe we'll have something for you next time.
ETA: I'll announce the winner tomorrow--so have your names in by the time I wake up Tuesday if you want in the contest.

Sounds cool! Those restaurant high chairs are pretty nasty.
That sounds really nice.
bring it on!
I have a very messy 9 month old and that sounds perfect. The restaurants I frequent would thank you!
Jill
cool! It looks neat!
Staci
Do I HAVE to have a baby to qualify...or can I win and GIVE it to someone with a baby??
You could give it to a baby haver, that would be fine.
That looks awesome! God love the woman (it had to be a woman) who invented that!
Aly
That looks so cool!
I LOVE that, and so know the perfect mommy to give one to!
Judy
I would love one of these! My 9 month old thinks its great fun to have puffs all over the place when we go out to eat.
Jess
sounds awesome!
i want one!
emily
Oh, that is SO COOL! I could probably use it for Katie, since she still uses the highchair. Then again, my BFF is preggers, and she would probably really like it, too.
I went away for ONE WEEKEND and I return to a bunch of posts, CHICKS, and a giveaway?!?! I need to go away more often! Rock on, Ashley
A neat baby...excellent idea!
I need one of these! Pick me! :)
What a cool concept! Voted too.
Jenn
Makes me want to have another baby! I'll put my name in the ring 'cuz I have a few people I could give it to. :)
-The Renee
We could definitely use one of these!
Karlise
I would love one of those! I just read an article that restaurant high chairs carry up to 12,000 different kinds of bacteria on them.
If you pick me you could help me save some serious $$ on Clorox wipes!!
Very, very cool.
Lyndsay
I voted and am leaving a comment!
My sister is pregnant and I would LOVE to give this to her. We were both servers and towards the end of my time doing it, I saw a couple of the Neatnik Saucers and I LOVED them! They were always accompanied by parents who actually cared about how their children were acting, in addition to caring about not making a mess.
Too cool! Wish I had one for baby #1, but can definitely use for baby #2.
What a cool item!
I need this! My son is a disaster area at mealtimes!
Carrie
this sounds so cool!!
Katie
Interesting!
Jessica
Awesome. I want one.
I WANT IT, I WANT IT
Can you hear me whining?
Okay I stop but PLEEAAASSSE pick me.
Thanks I will now go back to being a grown up
What a great idea! Could totally use one of these for the upcoming highchairs lil' man will soon be in!
Jaime
Sounds great!
Courtney
What a fantastic invention! However did you find this snazzy thing! I'd love one. I came looking for chick updates... but this will do for tonight. I'm hoping for more pics tomorrow though. :) Renee (aka SebBenLuc)
Sweet find Ashley! I could really use this in my home.
If not for my messy toddler, I could totally find a way to put it around DH while he eats. Can't take the man anywhere!
If you land on my number, take me out of the race and redo it -- I'm taking me out of the running. BUT -- really? lk sits in a booster? Chay is nuts! He will not sit still unless he's strapped in a high chair. Yes, he looks a little wierd. He looks 3 with a 2 yr old mind strapped in a babyseat. But its necessary. Otherwise he'll run out and jump straight into that rock fountain with no railings.
We were at a restaurant today with a fountain just like the one I described above and I had very bad visions of one Mr. Chay hopping right in there... Sorry. Now I'm rambling ;)
Sounds pretty sweet. Now, can you find a size 4T straight jacket for my middle child. With this handy food catcher, and a straight jacket for the middle one.. we ought to be good to go.
I would love to have one of those! I'm getting sick and tired of picking food chunks off of nastyass restaurant floors :)
Awesome! I'm in!
~Lisa
It looks interesting enough to try :)
Yes! Pick me, then we'll have an excuse to go out to eat.
Cassadie
Awesome, I actually babysit my nephew 4 days a week and man is he a messy baby!
Wow! What a clever invention. Would love one of those for my little man!
Love that!
That is so neat! The restaurant high chairs in Germany are just weird. My son always ends up with food on his butt. How, I do not know.
Jennifer :)
Cool! I usually bring a tarp so this would be great ;-).
This sounds like a wonderful item to have! My son is all about the food dropping/throwing.
Very Cool..
Callie
What a great idea! And cute too. I know a baby who could definitely use this!
This sounds awesome! My daughter is always making a mess at restaurants!
~Rae
Wish I had one for our first two, but would love it have it with the one due any day now.
This thing sounds awesome! What's with the voting though? You have a lot of people that make more money than me, at any rate.
Very cool. I have a food thrower/dropper too. I sometimes wonder what people think of my parenting when we are in restaurants. LOL
Ooh, that IS cool! I missed the boat with my daughter, but right on track for my son!
That thing looks f'ing awesome, how is it I never come up with these awesome ideas. That person will make tons of money!
Oh I would so love to win one! PICK ME
lets see how many of those "I never comment" peeps will just so they can win something.
I've seen an ad for this somewhere recently and would love to have one for my messy little man!
Dore'
I'd love this for my brand new little man although it will be a while before we'd use it. He is just 2 weeks old!
As a former restaurant manager I thank the makers of this product and wish all parents had one. You would not believe some of the messes that parents are more than happy to leave for the server to clean up along with their 5% tip.
That is totally a must have :)
It's on like flan!
Mama Bee (aka: Maegan)
Non-baby-haver (youngest is quickly nearing 4!) but that would have been a must-have. It's very similar in concept to a toddler pool floatie we had--large collapsable ring and suspended seat w/legholes--but the floatie had an inflatable ring around the outer rim and was made of a fine nylon mesh.
Thanks for sharing great baby tools :)
That is awesome! I need it!!!
Looks pretty neat. I have one of those cloth covers, but it can get kind of yucky if food gets dropped in it.
Heather
Oh! Sounds awesome, I want one!
Oh!!!! PICK ME!!!!
Jenny P.
I'd lurve one of those!
Well, I definitely have a food thrower, so count me in. -Lilly
...that IS a great idea...........leslie
nice label :)
amy...would love one of these.
cool!
Rebecca from Mississippi ;)
maybe this would give me the courage to try eating out with the food flinger? or maybe just once in awhile at home so i don't have to scrub the floor twice that day.
breanna
I so need one of these for my youngest. I swear she is a female version of LK. Swear.
