cleaning the house, I'm looking for goats on Craigslist. Pygmy goats.
I think it's very logical to have some goats if you have some chickens, acreage, and a husband who doesn't weed eat enough. Plus, I think it would be fun for the Closet.
And of course I would need two, one would be lonely and could only weed eat so much.
Earlier today I was researching plastic surgery, which isn't very likely to happen any time soon.
I'm pretty much just trying not to clean the house.
I remember seeing something about miniature cows, too...really! They were really tiny and cuuuute. I wonder if you can milk them?
I don't have any goats...but you could borrow the chihuahua. She loves to nibble on grass.
You're funny. We have a place right near us here in Southern Chester County, PA that has this hand scrawled sign selling "African Pygmy Goats." The Husband is always intrigued but me, not so much...good luck on both searches.
lol girl you crack me up!!!!
No way, goats too? First we had the chicks in common (Okay, I bought mine already hatched. . .) and now goats. We picked up two baby goats at Easter. (Only one survived - sad) They are really hysterical animals to watch. Ours followed my husband like he was the lost-goat-mommy until, um, guess she still does.
Umm, pygmy goats? Are adorable.
Ashley's Closet is getting a farm, E-I-E-I-O! You are TOO good to us! Can't wait to read about this journey.
Goats! Goats! Goats! You going to make cheese, too? I can SO picture you in a headwrap, elbow deep in curds ;)
I'm so vicariously excited for you.
You will do anything to get out of cleaning house. Some friends have a few goats, they never have to cut the grass. Pretty cool if you ask me.
How about one pygmy goat, a miniature horse (not pony) and a miniature pig (they are really cute). Miniature horses can pull you around on a little cart--or l.k. could ride him/her. And who could resist a miniature pig? Plus you could supplement your income (and deduct the cost of miniature animal upkeep) by having a miniature petting zoo.
I am trying to catch up on Dr. 90210 this weekend. Dr. Rey has been especially pervy lately, and in the epi with the sisters who got boob jobs together, one of the husbands was looking pissy about it. Good times.
My plastic surgery wish list:
-Forceps dent on side of face by eye fixed
-Removal of sun damage on face (going to do this again soon!)
-Smart lipo on tummy and thighs
Not sure I'll ever do lipo, but a girl can dream, right?
I say get some sheep.
That way, you can shear them, make sweaters and sell them. Then you can pay for boobs!
It's win win.
Make sure you get girls, or a neutered boy and girl. Unneutered boys STINK and do nasty things with their 'manhood.'
Also, don't feed them corn or feed if you expect them to eat grass, goats are picky picky after they have been spoiled with feed.
Baby goats are adorable. We had 2 sets of twins, both times we had babies. (We had to be 'midwives' both times too!)
LOL, this is great - My job has a classified ads section and there were 2 goats for sale last week that would only be sold together!
Not that I'm anti-goat, but maybe you should just go ahead and have another baby so you can get over all of this aquiring of cute little creatures business.
you really are a chawbacon rube.
Make sure that you get females or wethers (neutered males) cause if you've never smelled a billy goat...PEE UWW. I have ruined several pairs of jeans just being close to the males. They...uh...urinate on themselves and...uh...drink it. YUCK. They make for some great entertainment though, especially when that special time of the month rolls around. YES they can smell a lady...human or not. But the females and wethers make excellent pets...highly trainable too. Would make a nice addition to the closet.
We have pygmy goats at our zoo in the petting area they are so cute and tiny.
Goats? Serioualy? Don't you remember how mean they could be when they get older? Oh Geez.
We had goats for years and they never got mean! They were all true characters and very sweet. Although, I had forgotten about the Billy Goat's charms until Kristen reminded me. ;-) No boy goats.
I think that you do have to have two because they are herd animals and they get sad if they are alone.
