Storypeople

There has never been a day when I have not been proud of you, I said to my son, though some days I'm louder about other stuff so it's easy to miss that.

I love Storypeople prints. I have four of them. I really want the one I have featured above, but until I get these others framed, I should probably abstain. The ones I have say:

"I sometimes wake in the early morning & listen to the soft breathing of my children & I think to myself, this is one thing I will never regret & I carry that quiet with me all day long."

"There are lives I can imagine without children but none of them have the same laughter & noise." (I betcha there's no freaking water xylophone though. Yes, the damn thing is still in operation)

"The first time his laughter unfurled its wings in the wind, we knew that the world would never be the same."

"I hope it will be said we taught them to stand tall & proud, even in the face of history & the future was made new & whole for us all, one child at a time."

So yeah, not very funny or even inappropriate or shocking, but it's what you get for today. I'm fairly certain I'm dying of a sinus infection. I could use one of those "Sucks to be you" cards today. When I recover we'll do a special request purse shopping expedition for my dear friend Princess Cheri de la Buttercup Bear the First (& Only).

Think of me today people!! Send healing vibes or some such bullshit.

Thinking of you, my dear. Yes, it does suck to be you.
