Can I Get Some Recognition?

I'm totally beat, so the goal is to keep this fairly short and simple. I went to Tumble Time even though I knew none of my friends would be there AND in the rain. I deserve some sort of recognition for that. The Big Kid and I jumped on the trampoline together, with the Little Kid in the sling and that was seriously fun, but other than that it was hot and long and loud. Then I went to Chick Fil A (once again, no adult company) and had lunch with the kids and let the big one play in the hamster habitrail they call a playground.

Then I went to the Temple Preschool. I am VERY excited, this place seems amazing. It is everything I ever wanted in a preschool, other than the Hebrew and celebration of Jewish holidays, but whatever, that should be interesting. She said they won't turn him into a Jew, but he may talk like one. I think I can live with that, in exchange for some peace and quiet 3 days a week.

The place was huge and the lady that showed me around was very nice and very pretty, but she walked like she maybe only had one real leg? I don't know, because she had pants on and I was trying not to look. Maybe it wasn't a prosthetic but some other sort of problem, I'm not sure. But I felt really bad that she had to walk me all around this big place with the Big Kid constantly invading her personal space because he has no concept of spatial relationships or that two medium sized people and one little person in an enormous hallway have no business touching or possibly tripping over each other.

Anyway, I was sold on the place, until they told me the price. There is the potential to insert an inappropriate and shocking comedic reference to an ignorant cultural stereotype here, but that would be wrong. Shame on you for even thinking it. I'm still begging Mr. Ashley to consider the school. I really want to hear the Big Kid sing in Hebrew and I'm all about some additional holidays.

Then I came home and took a nap and then I worked on a Shutterfly photo book that I had a free code for. So, it was a busy day. Mr. Ashley doesn't think it was that busy and that I could've squeezed in a load of dishes somewhere along the way, but once again he is wrong. I wish he appreciated me more.

So much for keeping this short and simple.

"...but once again he is wrong." {snicker}

Just tell Mr. Ashley what I tell Mr. Monogram. If you expect me to actually *work* while I'm home, then we should probably start salary negotiations. Otherwise, this is my time, buddy.

Ooooooh, I like that! I like the way you think Monogram Momma.

"This is my time, buddy" That could work for the kids too. I'm going to get a shirt that says that and just point to my chest whenever anyone requests something of me.

Well, the problem is that since the kids can't read, you'd have to do it in symbols. Like a arrow + a watch. It could work. It could really work.

I've got it!! I'll have a shirt with pictures of me on my laptop and a watch, along with the words "Me" and "Time" (We'll keep it simple, for the kids).

Thanks for the suggestion!
