The Big Kid keeps calling me Mommy Cat and bringing me dishes of cat food and water. This was simply enchanting, for an hour. I'm going to start biting and scratching him in about 10 minutes. He's also sitting right up on me. Not in a snuggly way, in a "you're a piece of furniture and undeserving of any personal space or consideration" kind of way.
I had to get up early with the little kid this morning and I cannot recover. I'm just not made for this. I'll be back later.

My little kid has been waking up at 6:30 every morning.. Are you freakin' kidding me, kid? Who gets up at that God forsaken time of day?

Speaking of pets is it ok for my 10 mo old to put the dog toys in his mouth? I would also like to know if the 3 second rule applies if my dog licks the kids teething biscuit. I'm thinking oh well...but the look on MIL's face this afternoon I'm wondering if I am being too carefree and need to adopt a germ eradication project.

Buttercup, Personally, I have no problems with dog/kid germs commingling. They are both filthy little creatures.
