Potty Training

Well, we're doing it.

little kid has gone pee-pee in the potty 5-6 times over the weekend (more often than not, as a matter of fact).

We went to the store and let him choose some big boy undies (he picked Marvel comics) and he's been strutting around here with Spiderman splashed across his butt and dotted with the assortment of stickers he gets for sitting and trying but not succeeding.

So, that's where I'm at. Sitting on the edge of the bathtub, guarding the toilet paper and protecting the toilet from unnecessary flushage. I actually had to stop typing this two different times. Once to go and do a search and rescue for our toothpaste, which was found floating in the toilet, and once to pick (human) poop off of my bathroom rug.

So I might not be around a whole lot today, but I'd rather be (she says as she rushes back into the bathroom for the 976th time this morning).

in our house they were called "poop suckers" They were a big hit! Every sucker in the world was known as a poop sucker for about a year! Even after she was fully trained!

Good luck with the PT! Go Little Kid!

I gave up and she finally quit taking off her diaper and leaving it in random places around the house (seriously, I looked for 30 minutes one day).

But if he went in the potty 6 times, you may be golden. Keep us updated!

Oh, I can't wait until we can get Gun-Gun into PTing! Right now, he's potty chair is being used to hold all the Hotwheels he can find. One day, one day. Congrats!

Ahhh...the hell that is potty training. It's so worth all the struggles to not have to buy diapers and be able to carry a regular purse with out Pampers falling out if it.

Love the beach shots and not to sound all stalker like but where in FL are you (roughly). The shots are GORGEOUS and I have to make it to a beach like that before I die. That just blows our trips to the beach in Maryland out of the water, lol.

LK is as adorable as always. :^)

Oh, I'd have a hard time not taking a bite out of him.

I'm with Tammy. I want to visit that beach.

I hate potty-training. I'd be perfectly happy to just avoid it altogether. My mother is insisting that I start now (actually a couple of months ago), but I'm just not into it. My daughter seems into it some times, and other times she runs screaming at the sound of the word "potty."
So, if mom wants her potty-trained anytime soon, I guess Katie will be being sent to "Nana's Potty-Training Boot-Camp" this summer. I'll just let her deal with it.
Good luck to you and lk.
