more, yay. I don't recall ever seeing color images from those time periods...ever. It creates a feeling of, almost "un-realness" of the true history. kinda like a "reenactment" of the actual images. You get so used to seeing the various shades of black and white and sepia from back then, but ironically it creates more life-like imagery with the history.

I agree with anonymous. Very weird to see WWI and II images in color as opposed to the B&W that we're so used to. Thanks for the post.
Amazing. Colour photos from 100+ years ago, yet my childhood from birth to age 8 is recorded in B/W. I was born in 1970, so not that long ago...
(8-17 is on slides...great for resolution, lousy for browsing)
