Fascinating

I guess in Albania it wasn't all that uncommon for women to declare themselves the patriarch of the family and to live like a man if something were to happen to the head of household.

I TOLD you we could live without them.

No time to read article, but I just wanted to greet you and tell you happy pool day with girl crush!

Does she know about "us"?

Maybe I'm just a geek but that was really interesting. You find some really great stuff to read. Keep it coming, it saves my lazy butt the search time :)

This reminds me of a book that I read in an advanced English class in high school called Herland by Charlotte Perkins Gilman. It's about a female utopia. It was good, you should check it out...

OMG!! At the pool with Girl crush!!! That's got to be too much for you seeing her perfect body in a bikini. I hope you didn't slip and hit on her! BTW, GREAT activity for Little Kid. Wear that boy out. Strap on some floaties so he has to kick the whole time he's in the water. Have fun!

I wasn an Anthro major, and I LOVE reading stuff like this. It really is a fascinating article, and I can't believe I didn't know anything about it before. I wonder how the Muslim society fit that into their faith.

Have fun at the pool. Just think of all the girl on girl time those Albanian women missed.

whoa!!! This article is extremely fascinating. I loved it. Thanks for posting it. It was quite different than what we think of now, but I liked the "mulan"ish perspective.

You've been gone for a REALLY long time. Did you leave Mr. Ashley for Girl Crush?
