WIOW

You thought I was going to forget and let you all get away with doing nothing today, didn't you?

Ha HA! The Chore Whore doesn't forget (usually).

What are you "working out" today? I'm doing several things you'd be proud of but I am about to step out the door to work out my roots and my hairdresser's ear.

I'll be back and I expect progress reports. GOOD ones.

Edited to add: Don't forget the wine!! (like you lushes would)

I am working out how the hell these green flats I wore today can be incorporated into EVERY outfit I own.

Seriously though, I am working out some conforming contract for a closing. Which, in turn, works out a good bit of "the credit crisis"...at least at my house.

Oooooh, my hairdresser's ear got a good workout last night. Love hair cut-and-color day.

Today I'm working out my ass, which seems to have turned into a planet over the winter.

I'm also working outside of work, at the studio, which happys me.

I am going to "work out" what to say to my students' parents tonight at Parent-Teacher conferences. I think teachers dread them just as much as the parents do. I mean, we all know which kids are awful and which ones are delightful... why make us say it out loud?? It only makes us all feel awkward and uncomfortable, can't we just skip it? And why do only the parents of the "good" kids come?? It might be better if I added that wine... hmm.... how much trouble would that get me in?
I can still see your blogroll... it seems to be working!

I think I actually did something today that qualifies as "work it out" I called 2 landscapers to get spring cleanup and maintenance estimates (I hate landscapers, they all suck), and I called and made an appt for a MUCH needed cut & color. So, next Wednesday I'll be working it out with my hair guy!!

For WIOW I finally tackled a project at work I was dreading. It sucked, as I thought it would.

I'm bummed because a sick daughter is preventing me from attending a wine tasting tonight...however, I will make up for it by sampling from our own wine rack instead.

Gretchen is kicking ass today. I worked out being alone with all 4 kids all day, since the Pregnant Nanny skipped town this morning and won't be back until next Monday. I Worked Out having to clean my own kitchen today by not eating at home - we had breakfast at Waffle House (after we dropped Pregnant Nanny at the airport), picnic lunch at the Nature Center (where we crashed the Three and Four Year Olds Only program), and dinner at church tonight. Oh yeah. One day down, two to go until His Royal Highness comes home to help out. Or not help out, which is more likely. But we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.

I also called my alma mater to tell them that I'd like to set up a payment plan for the student loan that I haven't paid since.....drumroll please.....October 2002. Yikes. That's a little scary. But I got that ball rolling. So I'm doing pretty well today, if I do say so myself.

Okay. Okay. I moved my office to one down the hall from mine today. We are talking manual labor. Furniture. Computer. Printer. Random shit that lays around. I moved it all. Without any help from the other genders. Thankyouverymuch.

Now I've got an office that has about 3 feet of more space! Hooray for me. I'm now having a beer. Not wine. Beer.

Yeah girl. That's how I roll.

Ok.. so my day consisted of making it to the Y, getting internet at my house, and.......... wait for it... having 5 beers with the girlies on the back porch. Oh yeah! I created a new blog. Ugh the things I will regret tomorrow. I may even have a hangover.
