Evangeline

Not the best pics of her (I didn't take them) but is this an Ashley Family sort of dog, or what?

I love her! And the name Evangeline! Mr. Ashley is totally bringing you down.

I thinks she is adorable and I love the name! We are getting a puppy this week (the ones I told you about weeks ago) and I insisted it be a girl so she can be my pretend daughter since I have been "blessed" with 3 boys and no girls.

Awwww - I can already see her tolerating E-Bull's torment!

Look at those eyes!!! She's so sweet!

Just tell him it's the little girl you never had. Start mumbling something about the whole 'needing a daughter' thing. Dudes usually just chalk it up to hormonal issues, anyway. If you keep it up, he'll break down eventually.

What a cute puppy! I have to give up my mother's dachshund tonight because she is coming back from vacation. I told her that the dog doesn't want to go back to her house because she is happier at my house, but she still wants her back. Mr. Melodie says he can't wait until we get our own puppy, though.

We have a long haired mini-doxie and she is about the sweetest thing. Just go get the dog tomorrow...a St. Patrick's Day present for Mr. Ashley!

The doxies are a spunky breed and ours has a big attitude, like she is a big dog. A little 13 pound bad ass she is. A sassy little bossy dog just might give E-Bull a run for is money.

Remind him of the baby goat and tell him you just really think that this would be a more sensible gift from the Easter bunny.

Awwww how cute is she?!!! Tell Mr Ash to stop acting like an asshat and let you get her. She is too cute for words!

She is purdy!!

What better gift for all the weiner gobbling, than a weiner dog? He owes you. Go get the dog. I like the idea of seeing her in a sling or papoose.

We have 2 long-haired dachshunds , whom we adore. They are great dogs.

Oh hell yea you so need her. She can be you little girl you never will get, you need to balance your house out. I also agree she is a better gift from the easter bunny than the goat.

Well I love her! I can't imagine adding another pet to the mix at this point in my life...however, I still visit the shelter web-site every day waiting for my love match, just in case. So I suffer from the same delusional thinking that "this" dog will be different and easier and only add and not take from my life.

I wasn't sold on the wiener dog concept until someone above made the wiener-gobbling reference. That really is the right breed for you, babe. But, again, I have to lodge a formal protest about using my baby name (Evangeline -- don't pretend you didn't know, I can dig up a few threads) for the dog if you get it.

P.S. She's kind of cute. For a wiener dog.
