Guess Who

decided to trim up his hair in the bathroom with a pair of nail scissors?

Oh Lord.

Thank goodness the carnage was minimal, but he obviously got a chunk of bangs and one sideburn and there is hair all over the bathroom.

Since he has the shaggy thing going on right now, it's not too terribly obvious, but it's definitely going to have to be fixed.

I say give him a fauxhawk. That would totally go with LK's style.

You should tell Mr. Ashley that Supercuts will do a fine job for less than 15 bucks. He really should steer clear of the nail scissors.

OH COME ON! A post like this without a picture?

I guess you have an excuse to buy that really cute hat now, huh?

Oh, no! That's just the worst when your beautiful kids get all "do-it-yourself" with the haircuts!

My oldest daughter did it when she was about three or so. She had just gotten a nice (& expensive) hair cut the day before and said she was "playing Roger." (Roger was her hair stylist.) It was so bad, there wasn't much Roger could do to fix it.

My second daughter never cut her own hair, but she did let her friend in preschool give her a little haircut. Fortunately, it was easy to cover up and blend in. The other child's parents were very upset and apologetic, but I assured them I wasn't mad at their child and that I was sure it was probably my child's idea in the first place.

You definitely MUST post a pic of BK's new haircut, though.

Oh shit. THAT is exactly what I needed. Exactly.

Pictures, please.

I trim my bangs with nail scissors. I probably do a comparable job, which is why I stick to the bangs. Stick to the bangs, BK!! Stick to the bangs!!!

I Hope The Dish Fairy returned your vacuum so that you can clean up all that hair. :)

Okay........
This is freakishly coincidental, but last night, I peeked into our steam/shower room, and there was dh sitting with the nail scissors trimming his jungle. and piling the hairs on a little plastic kids tea saucer that he'd stolen from the bathtub. I offered him the hair scissors, but he was fine with the nail scissors.
LMFAO!
When I just read the first line of this, I totally got the visual of Mr.Ashley cutting his junk back!!
Too bad it wasn't really. That would have been kinda nice for you!

I'm just waiting for this to happen to me. But I don't own any nail scissors, so we might make it a while longer...

Pictures, please! One of big girl's friends decided to give herself bangs a few months ago. Her mother was heartbroken, but said friend has been sporting lots of cute hairdos with barrettes to mask the damage since then. Your lad, however, probably can't rock the barrette look, or maybe he can. But nonetheless, pictures, please ma'am!

I need to see!

Luckily, P gets a backyard buzz every few weeks, so this is something we won't have to worry about.

Now The Wild Child, she'll totally do that at some point.
