Oh Man

my hard drive cannot be repaired as easily as they thought previously.

In fact, they are now talking about "data recovery" and "sending away" and "getting quotes"...and I just moved almost all of my images, personal and professional, to that hard drive because my laptop was freaking out.

I usually copy all images to my laptop's hard drive and my external hard drive at the same time, and I took all of the images on my laptop's hard drive and temporarily stuck them in a folder on my external hard drive so I could burn them onto CD and to try to make my laptop calm down with all of it's "low disk space" messages.

Then Mr. Ashley tripped over the external hard drive cord a couple of days ago. It really seemed like just the plug part was messed up...no such luck.

I am such a freaking idiot and I guess I deserve it for tempting fate...but can't I get a break, Fate? Just for a minute?

I just noticed your cruise tease in your comment thingy. I'm cruising with some great friends in 10 days and we do it every year.

Anyway, I'm right there with you with the f-ed up laptop. What sucks is I just got mine for Christmas and it's already flopping like a fish on land. Good luck with getting yours fixed!

Awww man! I hate computer problems. You should at the very least be able to save the little thing inside you computer that holds the memory...just listen to me, I don't have a freaking clue.

Good luck with that.

And is heartless that I'm thinking better you than me right now??

Sorry. I'm working on that whole "apathy" problem.

Don't you know that fate hates mommies. The proof is in our post pregnancy waistlines and the bags under our eyes at the end of the day.

Damn Fate.

My girls (the older ones) were fighting (of course) over the laptop and somehow damaged the part that the power cord plugs into. So now, they have no computer to fight over. Of course, that means that they are always bugging me to use my computer. They don't seem to understand that I MUST keep up with your blog.

Don't even get me started on the loss of data due to a computer malfunction. The guy from India I am sure enjoyed listening to the sobbing crying of a crazy lady who was to lazy to make a recent backup of all those precious pics.

I so wish we lived closer together.. I am sure I could fix your hard drive, much quicker, and much cheaper...

Sorry about your luck.
