It has been raining for like three straight days. Day and night.
Someone as sweet as myself cannot go out in the rain, for fear of melting.
This is making it VERY difficult to do my last minute party planning/supply buying.
Rain, you have until 4-5ish to knock this out. I plan on spending the evening wandering around Target, Joann's and Publix and wet, frizzy hair is not a part of this plan.

I'll take the rain.. we have about 6 inches of crappy snow, mixed with FREEZING rain.

I was going to leave the same comment as Traci. We have 3 or so inches of snow, trapped under 1/2 inch of ice from the freezing rain. It is now changing to all rain, which will leave a pleasant slushy mess for the evening. Fun!
We had snow/freezing rain here yesterday, now it's POURING! I am so sick of rain and I hate it. Hopefully it stops for you!
You're lucky you live in FLA. In Virginia, it's raining and 32 degrees which equals lots of ice. :-(
Well we got a snow day, here in TN it only takes about 1/4in. of the white stuff to close it all down. There was a bit of ice this morning from all the nasty rain we got yesterday.
Sorry can't commiserate, Ashley. I'd sell my left pinky toe (well, maybe my husbands) to be in Florida right now. Here in Maine we just got 8 inches of snow, and now it's pouring down freezing rain on top of that. Big. Damn. Mess.
Plus, the kids have a snow day, which completely interferes with my plans to watch morning TV, surf the internet, and gab on the phone. Sigh.
Freezing rain in these parts, too. Not doing well for the 'do, either.
Is the playdate party supposed to be outside? Will the rain effect the location?

I'll take whatever you guys want to give me. It was 86 here yesterday in CA, and its about 78 today. Did someone say it was winter? Blah!
I was watching boring ass weather channel last night and thought about you when I was watching all that weather roll through. It looked like it was some bad stuff. Had me wishing I worked for the weather channel so I could come down and chase the tornadoes.
My kids also had a snow day today. What is it with yucky slushy days (it wasn't even the kind of stuff that you can go out and play in) that makes my children want to fight with eachother? Ugh...they're going to school tomorrow whether it's open or not. :)
Blah... We've had rain/freezing rain/sleet for days now. It sucks. Luckily it is about 40 now, so no more freezing! I freaking HATE winter!
